Stan, like most Barbershoppers, always had music in his life.  In addition to playing the piano, he sang in his high school Glee Club and his temple choir. 

While he was an actuary at Met Life he joined their chorus and was a frequent soloist.  In 1992 he retired and he and his wife, Barbara, left Brooklyn, New York to live in Boca Raton, Florida.

In Florida, he joined the Barbershop chorus, "Hurricane Harmonizers."  Now he is also a member of the quartet "Cameo."
